Anyway, almost a year ago when I was in New Zealand I went on a small hike up Te Mata Peak in the Hawkes Bay. It was real nice to be on the hills at 7am watching the sun kissing the treetops good morning and getting dewy legs walking through the sheep paddocks, feeling still under Redwood trees and tip toeing past kererū as they slept in low tree branches.
I’ve been sitting on these photographs for too long – turns out I can’t blame my photo sharing tardiness on film processing taking ages. So here they are.
Yes this was as steep as it looked, it took me an hour to walk up and I kept being distracted by fossils buried in the track.
The view was worth it.
