While working on an internship at the Natural History Museum in London, I was lucky enough to be asked to photograph the adorable Young Wildlife Photographer of the Year Award winners during their day exploring the deepest bowels of the Museum. It was pretty much a dream come true, including a tour of the Museum’s Spirit Collection and the Angela Marmont Centre for UK Biodiversity and generally hanging out with a bunch of talented wildlife photographers – watching them get excited about dead animals, natural history and science. ┬áIt was one of the most fun days I’ve had taking photographs – a big thanks you to the WPY team, young photographers and their lovely parents for letting me tag along and pretend I was one of the kids for a day.

You can find out more about the Wildlife Photographer of the Year Awards and Exhibition on the WPY Website.
